Eco Club, Dhemaji Commerce College
The Eco Club of Dhemaji Commerce College is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among students, staff, and the community. Its key aims and functions are as follows:
Aims:
- To teach students and staff about protecting the environment.
- To make the college campus green, clean, and eco-friendly.
- To spread awareness about saving nature in the college and nearby areas.
- To build a college community that cares for the planet.
Functions:
- Organize activities such as tree planting, clean-up drives, and recycling campaigns to maintain a sustainable campus.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and poster competitions to promote conservation of water, energy, and reduction of waste.
- Maintain and beautify campus green spaces while suggesting energy-saving practices.
- Collaborate with NGOs, local groups, and other institutions on broader environmental initiatives.
- Document all club activities and share achievements in reports and college publications.
